Energy Ministry: Necessity to purchase nuclear fuel for Belarus' NPP will not affect energy security
MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) – The necessity to purchase nuclear fuel for the nuclear power plant will not affect Belarus’ energy security, said Deputy Energy Minister of Belarus Mikhail Mikhadyuk as he met with European Union reporters in Minsk on 22 July, BelTA has learnt.

Individuals traveling to Customs Union must declare cash of over $10,000
MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – Individuals traveling to or from a country outside the Customs Union must declare any cash of over $10,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies). This is stipulated in the agreement on the movement by individuals of cash money and (or) money instruments across the customs border of the Customs Union that came in effect on 6 July 2010, BelTA learnt from the information service of the National Bank.

In 2011-2015 Belarus to increase FDI inflow to $7bn per year

Belarusian-Chinese Innovation Center opens in BSU
MINSK, 21 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Chinese Innovation Center opened in Belarus State University on 20 July, BelTA learned from the BSU press service. According to BSU Rector Sergei Ablameiko, the university has reached a new level of the sci-tech cooperation; it has set up the first joint innovation center in Belarus and China.
